Welcome to Newcastle Studio and Townhouse
The district name Newcastle is a reference to the former ferry service that until 2006 operated between Frihamnen and Newcastle. Here you will find everything from unique four-storey mini-townhouses to family apartments and airy studio flats.
In your studio you will find everything you could possibly need – hanging space, fully equipped kitchen in a stylish modern colour, dining table and chairs, wardrobes and storage, sofa area with TV screen for streaming and fully tiled bathroom with shower corner and washing machine. Wifi and A/C are available in all of our accommodations.
In the lovely loft you have a bed and wardrobe. Welcome to book your studio per month, week or day.

A vibrant and safe place where visitors meet and the proximity to Göta älv is exploited to the maximum. An architecturally rich environment with sustainable wooden architecture, smart solutions and a large number of social meeting places. A place that the people of Gothenburg look at with pride and love to visit.

With the Town house from the Freeport there was long a ferry connection with Newcastle. The block is inspired by British townhouses, but mixed with modern wooden architecture and loft romance. The high ceilings of the studios provide a unique quality in a small space. All studios have seating-friendly bay windows and several custom-designed, site-built furniture and storage solutions. A clever and empathetic architecture that will be unique to Frihamnen.

Building in wood is always something we strive for in our projects – and we like when is visible on the outside as well! Wide entrance balconies with generous seating areas and an elaborate courtyard environment with a focus on space to socialize, contribute to the social sustainability of the area.

There are several unique and interesting studio types in the block. The most spectacular is a mini-townhouse on four levels, one room on each floor and of course large windows with the best view of the river Göta älv.
