NOTE! Urgent errors should be called in around the clock.

Don't call on-call assistant, if the action can wait.
You will have to pay if you use an on-call service for errors that are not considered an urgent risk.

NOTE! If you have lost, forgotten or locked your mobile or otherwise caused the mobile key to be unavailable, you will be charged.


Examples of urgent errors

  • Stop in drains with rising water. The water does not flow down the drain and there is a risk of water damage or personal injury.

  • Completely de-energized room or damage to power line. Risk of personal injury.

  • Broken glass pane. Risk of personal injury or burglary.

  • Damage to immovable property involving a risk of personal injury or burglary.

  • Water flows from e.g. pipe.

  • The fridge, freezer or cooker is completely out of order.

General info

Communication

Bus from Central Station/To Waterfront Cabins: Bus number 16 from Nordstan stop location B. The journey takes only 3 minutes. Get off at the Frihamnsporten bus stop, which is about 400 meters from our area.

Free boat: The Älvsnabben is free to ride and runs between the Stenpiren and Lindholmspiren stops Monday to Friday. The boats Älveli and Älvfrida depart every 8 minutes between 07:00 and 16:00. The journey across the Göta River takes only 6 minutes.

Taxi: With Bolt or Uber you can easily get from us to the center of Gothenburg.

Parking: There is also a large parking lot at the entrance owned by the City of Gothenburg, the fee is SEK 300 per day.

What is the check-in procedure?

You will be automatically checked in by Waterfront Cabins at the specified check-in time on the day of check-in (check-in time is indicated on the booking confirmation). It is perfectly possible to arrive later, just make sure you have received the mobile key and that you know where your studio is located. The key works from the check-in time so you can enter your studio at any time after that.

The mobile key will be sent to your mobile at check-in and is valid from that time.

How do I book breakfast?

We cooperate with a local Café that delivers breakfast bags to us from 07.00.

You can easily book your breakfast bag by emailing, calling or visiting the reception.

Other services / 24-hour reception

Reception. Our reception is staffed around the clock. You will find us in the yard at kv 5, 6/7.

It is possible to rent or buy a sheet and towel set for all types of stays.

Food shop open 24/7

The grocery store is located at the entrance to the area. The shop is open 24/7. Here you will find everything from food to snacks.

Mobile key

To receive the key, you need to download the Waterfront Cabins app (you can find it where you download apps). Make sure to register the same phone number in the app that you entered when making your reservation. The app is compatible with both IOS and Android.
Please note that 2 keys are included in your booking, an additional fee of 350 SEK applies for any additional keys/exchange of keys.

Can I have visitors or guests in my studio?

Your friends and family are welcome to visit you when you stay with us until 20:00. Please note, however, that only guests listed on the booking are allowed to stay overnight.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in your room or on any balcony/terrace.

How do I check out?

You will be automatically checked out at 11:00 on the day of departure. For everyone's comfort, please start the dishwasher and leave any key cards on your kitchen table before leaving your studio. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact our reception which is staffed 24/7.

How do I change or cancel my room?

Email booking@waterfrontcabins.se if your booking is made directly through us, special booking conditions may apply.

WiFi instructions

Block 1: Connect to your studio's wifi first. Open a web browser (e.g. google chrome, safari etc.), enter the login details found on the inside of your front door.

Block 8:

You will find your code on the locker outside the bathroom.

Other neighborhoods: Login details and router name can be found on the back of the router or at your front door.

Error report

You can report a fault by scanning your QR code on the inside of your front door. You will also find a link to the error report in your Waterfront Cabins app.
