Here we’ve compiled the most common questions about our studios, housing options, and services. Whether you have questions about studio availability, what’s included in your stay, or the options for extending your stay with us, you’ll find the answers here. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Communication

Bus from Central Station to Waterfront Cabins:
Take bus 21 from Nordstan stop, location B, or bus X1 from Nordstan, location A. Get off at Frihamnsporten stop, which is about 400 meters from our area.
Alternatively, you can take tram 10 from Nordstan, location B, and get off at Jubileumsparken – from there it is only a short walk to us.
Free boat: Älvsnabben is free to ride and runs between the stops Stenpiren and Lindholmspiren Monday to Friday. The boats Älveli and Älvfrida depart every 8 minutes between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The trip across the Göta River takes only 6 minutes.
Taxi: With Bolt or Uber, you can easily get from us to the central parts of Gothenburg.
Parking: There is also a large car park at the entrance, owned by the City of Gothenburg, which costs SEK 300 per day.

Other Services / 24-Hour Information

Our information desk is open 24 hours a day. You can find us in the courtyard between blocks 5 and 6/7. You can rent or purchase sheet and towel sets, regardless of the length of your stay.

Food shop open 24/7 

The grocery store is located at the entrance to the area. The shop is open 24/7. Here you will find everything from food to snacks.  

Mobile key

To receive your key, you’ll need to download the Waterfront Cabins app (you can find it in your app store). Be sure to register the same phone number in the app that you provided during check-in. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android.
Please note that 2 keys are included with your stay; an additional fee of 350 SEK applies for any extra keys or key replacements.

Can I have visitors or guests in my studio?

Visitors are welcome. If you plan to have an overnight guest, please contact us in advance at: info@waterfrontcabins.se

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in your room or on any balcony/terrace. 

Information Ahead of the Deadline

The studio is available until 11:00 a.m. on the closing date. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, please run the dishwasher if you’ve used any kitchen equipment and leave any key cards on the kitchen table before leaving the studio. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our information desk, which is open 24 hours a day.

How do I change my studio or length of stay? 

Please contact us at info@waterfrontcabins.se if your stay has been confirmed directly through us. Special terms and conditions may apply.

WiFi instructions

Block 1: Connect to your studio wifi first. Open a browser (e.g. google chrome, safari etc.), enter the login details that are on the inside of your front door.
Block 8:
You will find your code on the cabinet outside the bathroom.
Other blocks: Login details and router name can be found on the back of the router or at your front door. 

Error report

 You can report a fault by scanning your QR code on the inside of your front door. You will also find a link to the error report in your Waterfront Cabins app.

Safety monitoring

The area is secured around the clock with cameras, to give you and other guests the best possible experience on the pier.

How do I pay and/or change my payment card?

You can update the payment cards on your cWallet account yourself at any time.

Is there breakfast?

There are several cafés and restaurants in our neighborhood where you can have breakfast.
